Celtic v Aberdeen
Bank of Scotland SPL
Saturday 25 October 2003
Celtic Park
Celtic's first opportunity to bounce back from the poor show in midweek arrives when Aberdeen take up the task of defending for 90 minutes at Parkhead.
Aberdeen have taken many a beatings at Celtic Park, and Saturday should be no different. They are currently sitting second bottom of the SPL and I can't think of any other team who I'd rather play after a tough Champions League game in Brussels.
Alan Thompson and Joos Valgaeren came through Tuesday's game without any damage to their injuries, but Jackie McNamara looks set to miss out against the Dons.
Martin O'Neill should bring back Liam Miller into the starting line-up, and personally I would rather see John Kennedy at the back instead of Joos Valgaeren.
Anderlecht has been our worst performance of the season so far, apart from that 90 minutes we have been playing great. Hopefully we can put in a similar shift to the one last week which sent Hearts home at half time.
Let's hope the Aberdeen fans will be in their beds for dinner time on Saturday!
Celtic-Mad Prediction: Celtic 5-0 Aberdeen
