Celtic v Dunfermline
Saturday 8th November 2003
Bank of Scotland SPL
Kick off 3.00
Dunfermline are the only team to take points off of Celtic in the SPL this season. That was on a bad day at East End Park, on the opening day of the season.
Celtic will no doubt make sure that the same will not happen again tomorrow.
We are in the middle of a superb run, on both domestic and European fronts. We are currently unbeaten in the league, and Martin O'Neill will be hoping we keep this up with a professional performance tomorrow.
Dunfermline are currently sitting sixth in the leage, their draw against us at the start of the season has probably been their finest result of the campaign so far.
It is likely Martin O'Neill will play a changed team from the European heroes of midweek, Michael Gray and Momo Sylla may be in with a shout for a starting place, Liam Miller will also be wanting to start the game.
Whatever the team, Celtic should go out to destroy these mini-huns. Why is it that Dunfermline always put up a hard-working performance against every team in the league apart from Rangers? Chris Sutton will be out to punish this team tomorrow, as his comments about them earned him a 5 match ban.
Whatever the team, I am sure Celtic will grab a decent victory tomorrow.
Celtic-Mad Prediction: Celtic 4-0 Dunfermline
