45 players on Celtics wanted list.

Gordon Strachan has Handed his bosses a List of around 45 players that he has shortlisted (or longlisted) as being suitable incoming transfers in January. Strachan along with coaching staff have been compiling the dossier over the last year and it is claimed that there are four players in there worth over six million pounds.

Strachan is said to be upset that John Clarke had let slip some of the names and that the agents of these players would be artificially raising the stakes because they have had an early hint that Celtic are interested.

Celtic look as if they are opening up the warchest again and their place in the next round of the Champions league may be the inspiration behind the corporate wallet once again being opened.
