Celtic target Michael Kadlec is set to sign for the Parkhead club this week.
Celtic's chief executive Peter Lawwell has been in Prague for the last three days trying to seal a deal with Kadlec's club Sparta Prague and it is thought that a deal will be concluded by Wednesday by both clubs for the young Czech fullback. Sparta were hoping to hold out for 2.8million euros but with Kadlec's contract expiring in a year's time, they now either accept Celtic's latest bid or lost him for free next summer. Kadlec's agent has already stated that Michal will put pen to paper on a pre-contract agreement in December with Celtic if Sparta fail to come to an agreement with Celtic.
Kadlec's debut in the green and white hoops may come as soon as Sunday when Celtic travel further north to face Inverness Caley Thistle at the Caledonian Stadium
