Celtic could be in the EPL as quickly as 2008 after discussions in the European parliament which would change the face of football.
A Dutch MP has put forward a motion to be discussed which basically says that football clubs are to be treated as companies and that existing Euro laws allow companies to trade in other countries without hinderance.
These company Laws are already in place and came into being after the 1957 "treaty of Rome" and so far no football club has tried to use these rules to move to another countries league. This new move will address this and it looks as if it may be taken up by the Euro parliament as early as 2008.
Uefa will be doing all they can to stop this from happening as it will allow breakaway Leagues and franchises to happen the same way as they do in the United States and it could even see the end Of Uefas hold over clubs and the Champions league may be replaced with another format.
Dutch MP Toine Manders is behind the new move and Manders may be the Person that gets Celtic playing in a better league
