Celtic Knock Back Bid For Pearson

Preston manager Billy Davies has had an undisclosed bid for Stephen Pearson knocked back by Celtic today.

Yesterday, both Gordon Strachan and Peter Lawell stated that Pearson is not for sale, and it is no surprise that today's offer has been rejected.

Pearson could find himself with a starting place at Clyde on Sunday, with Stan Petrov out injured for roughly three weeks.
