Contract progress being made

Neil Lennon is pleased to see some progress being made on the contract talks with striker Georgios Samaras and right-back Mark Wilson. With speculation being rife ahead of and during the January transfer window over Samaras' future it is good to hear that the club have made a decision about his services.

The Hoops manager said: "Negotiations are on-going and I think we are getting close to getting Georgios signed. We have had talks with him and his representative is coming over next week and hopefully we can get that done. He has fantastic attributes and he wants to be here. I spoke to Mark this morning and we are very pleased with his form and again we will try to get him bedded down before the end of the season."
