While the hunt is on for a manager to take the Parkhead hot seat a number of runners and riders are jockeying for position. Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies is one person who is not about to turn his back on the chance. He has given his strongest indication yet that he would be interested in the job one day but also stressed he still has a job to do at Nottingham Forest. The Hoops formally launched their search for a new manager after the last game of the season, following a successful interim spell with Neil Lennon at the helm. Davies steered Forest to third place in the Championship but promotion hopes were dashed when they lost to Blackpool in the play-offs. He has been linked with the vacant Celtic job, despite having played for Rangers in the 1980s. |
