Stan Petrov's agent Tony McGill is in Glasgow today to have talks with his player and the club. It is make or break time for the Bulgarian and his agent has been trying to make it difficult for Celtic to keep the disillusioned player.
Petrov has reported back for pre season training but his attitude has been less than perfect and he is thought to be at the sharp end of some "dressing room banter". Petrov is known to go into a huff very easily and although the rest of the players are fond of him he is still walking around looking depressed.
Mc Gill was quoted yesterday as saying "Stilian would like the opportunity to speak to Portsmouth but I've told him that he can't, which is hard for him to understand."I can understand his frustrations but I have been in this situation before."And I have never known a manager to keep an unhappy player at his club. No disrespect to Celtic, but he wants to play in the Premiership and he can't wait to get there."
Well Tony you aren't exactly going to make money of him unless he leaves are you? it's no wonder he is depressed.
should Petrov Go? Do you want to see him stay in the hoops or do you think he isn't fit to wear them?
