Di Canio says He fancies Celtic again

Strange things happen during the contract season but so far nothing has come close to this one. Paulo DiCanio has said that he would LOVE to come back to Celtic in a playing or coaching role. Will I give you a minute to pick yourself up off your seat? Yes the Italian madman has decided he wants to leave Lazio because he "does not get on with president Claudio Lotito".


Di Canio is on a reported 30k a week at Lazio and is currently taking his coaching certificates. Di Canio was asked if he was offered a reputed 65k a week FIVE year contract with an Australian club but has said that any offers get dealt with by his agents but if money was irrelevent there was only one club he would like to work with and that was Celtic.


Former boss Harry Redknapp is also interested in having the player at Portsmouth in a player/coaching role
