The man we all love to hate, Fernando Ricksen, has agreed to leave Ibrox on a one year loan deal that covers the remainder of his contract with Rangers, with Zenit St.Petersburg, which means the Dutch man will never be seen in an Old Firm game again.
Former Rangers boss Dick Advocatt, the man who inflicted Ricksen on Scotland, is the new manager in St.Petersburg.
Ricksen who was thrown off the Rangers pre-season tour after a drunken incident on a flight to South Africa, has recently been receiving counselling at the Sporting Chance Clinic.
Ricksen who is best remembered for his Old Firm debut on 27 August 2000, when he had to be substituted after 23 minutes of pure hell dished out by Bobby Petta, it was his good season.
Fernando so long.
