Chinese defender Du Wei will return to his club Shanghai in the next couple of days.
The move back home comes after Celtic made a decision not to keep him on after his loan spell ended on Sunday.
Du Wei only played one first team game for Celtic, a game which ended after 45 minutes, when he was substituted.
It seems harsh letting a player go after only one half of a game of football, but Celtic have had eight months to look at him in the reserves, and the guy is obviously not good enough.
He had a horror-show at Clyde and looked lightweight, fragile and frankly, clueless, against a First Division side. This, though, was a game where not one Celtic players received pass marks. I reckon there's more to this one than 45 minutes at Broadwood.
Du Wei leaves Celtic with my best wishes for the future.
