Scotland international James McFadden is locked in talks over a possible move to Parkhead.
The former Birmingham City striker is a free agent after being released by the newly relegated club in the summer.
The 28 year old hasn't featured in competitive action since last September and has been floored with yet another long-term injury.
However he had been training with Wolves with a view to possibly signing a deal at Molineux but that fell through as Faddy assessed all his options.
One of those options appears to be a move back to Scotland with Celtic and the arrival of Faddy who began his career at Motherwell, would surely bolster Neil Lennon's options up front.
