Fans did NOT want Larsson back at Celtic park!!!

Celtic fans did not want Henrik Larsson back at Celtic. what a load of B*****x I hear you say and I would agree with you. Henrik Lit up Celtic park and I would love to have seen him back. At least thats what I thought until the results of our poll came through. After reading the various stories today about Celtic trying to get Larsson back we decided to send our reporter to Celtic park to ask some questions and while she was on her way we asked her to have a quick poll in and around Celtic park and the superstore to see what the Celtic supporters thought, Bhoy did we get a surprise. We polled 41 people and 31 of them did NOT want their Hero back. You could have bowled us over with a tangerine when we were phoned in with the results but understanding dawned on us when we got the reasons why the Celtic fans reacted to our poll in such a way, and the quote from Mrs Jane McGilly from Saltcoats who was up with her family for the Celtic Tour was typical.


We Love Henrik, We will always have a place for him and when he was playing in the Champions league final I was crying when he came on. I was at his last game at Celtic and it was the most emotional game I have ever been at except perhaps the St Johnstone (stop the Ten in a row game) in 1998. Henrik left Celtic park that day as a God, Nothing he could ever do at Celtic park on his return would make him grow any higher in our estimation and he left on a high. He is the King of kings and will be remembered as that. I want it to stay that way and would not have wanted him back at parkhead in case there was a chance that the magic would have been spoiled."


Seventy Five percent of the people we spoke to thought the same way. It seems we like our romance and our heroes over in Paradise and having now thought about it I would't want it any other way.
