Hartley sets himself up for Celtic move

Paul Hartley and his agents have been making sure that over the past few days the player has been telling anyone who will listen that he wants a long term contract at Hearts. What they have not been saying is that 29 year old Hartley is looking for a Five year deal with a massive guaranteed pay rise. Hearts know that this is not an acceptable deal for them and they are aware that the players demands are excessive for someone his age. It is thought in Hearts circles that Hartley is deliberately making it impossible for Hearts to agree his terms. Hartleys agents are well known for protecting their players when they move clubs and it would be much easier for Hartley and his family if His present club could not offer him the contract he says he wants. Lets face it, what would be easier for Hartley?. To say that he is moving to Celtic because he always wanted to play for them?. or He left Hearts because he is 29 and wanted to finish his career with his "beloved" Jambos but the club would not give himm the contract he needed to do that?.
