"Celtic players get a lot of attention but I don't have a problem with that," he said.
"I'm 29, I've been in the game for a long time and I appreciate the demands of playing for a big club.
"If you can't handle being in the spotlight you shouldn't play for Celtic, it's as simple as that.
"I've loved my time here so far and I'm delighted just to be here. The club is already my home."
