Memorial Day at Anfield
As reported throughout Celtic Cyberpsace, we the Celtic support have been invited to take part in a memorial for the 96 victims of the Hillsborough disaster.
From the Hillsborough Justice Campaign
"A Memorial Service will be held at Anfield, Liverpool for the 96 people who died 18 years ago at Hillsborough on Sunday 15th April 2007.
We would like to extend a personal invitation to any Celtic Supporters, particularly those involved in the Celtic Justice banner, to come down to Liverpool and join us in remembering those who lost their lives.
The memorial service is held at the Kop end, and usually lasts around an hour, concluding in a minute silence at 3.06pm.
It also gives both ourselves and the Justice campaign organisers a chance to say thank you for all the work you have done to help our cause."
For those of us not able to travel down to show our support; may I suggest a minute's silence on the site at 15:06 on the afternoon of the 15th April? We will open up a thread with the names of the 96 victims of the tragedy and I would urge each and every member to log on and view the list of names without posting.
