| Scunthorpe manager Nigel Adkins fully expects striker Gary Hooper to be another signing for Neil Lennon in the next few days. There appears to be some credence to the rumours surrounding Hooper, 22, as he was left out of the squad that played Sheffield Wednesday today to avoid an injury that would put any move in doubt. Adkins said: "I think there has been talks between Celtic and our chairman but the fact of the matter is Gary has not signed anything yet. I would imagine something will materialise over the course of the weekend and that is why Gary did not figure for us." More discussions over the move as Lennon and the money men will be with the side for a pre-season friendly against Lincoln City, so will be are well placed to hold talks with both Scunthorpe and Hooper |
