News reaches Mon the Hoops Towers today that Hibs Moroccan ‘star’ Benji has had "concrete interest from Celtic"

The diminutive player has stated in a TV interview in his native land that "There is concrete interest from Celtic. They have spoken to my agent"

One only hopes that his agent also has Kaka on his books!

Seriously though this comment smacks of a player attempting to improve his stock or possibly re-negotiate his contract with his current club. I for one cant see why WGS would be interested in a player that could best be described as ‘luxury’.

I have no shame in continually poaching players from our East Coast cousins, but to sign a player who cant even command a regular starting berth seems a tad strange.

Let’s hope its just paper talk.

And finally, news that Celtic are interested in a player called Mozart have given the pun Police a busy 24 Hours! He is a cultured midfielder capable of pulling the strings although it is thought that he may not be able to Handel the pressure.
