Riordan's failure to make it into the first team must be hard to take for the player and he is constantlt getting wound up by his ex teamates for making the wrong decision.
Rumours that Riordan has had a bust up with manager Strachan are flying round Celtic park and this would explain why Riordan has been left out of the squad. More likely however is that the signings that came in after Him have proved do be better players and that Mr Riordan is just not good enough to win his place.
