Celtic have allegedly been looking at WBA midfielder Jason Koumas. Koumas has been on strike (do we want someone who does this?) and has been fined by the club, now for the third time.
Koumas has stated he has no desire to play for WBA and it is a known fact that gordon Strachan is an admirer of Koumas but whether he would take him at the £1.5 million price tag and with the players petulant ways is unknown.
Sheffield United and Cardiff City are among the other clubs interested in the Welsh midfielder.
WBA have stated that "The sooner Koumas is out of The Hawthorns the better, he will never play for Albion again and his situation is distracting to other players. We could continue to fine Koumas and turn down offers dragging the situation out or we can sell him now."
The players agents however have been known to spread rumours of big Clubs interest in Koumas to get his name into the limelight and we have received word from Celtic park that although all available players will be looked at, Celtic view disciplinary records as being very important and the player would have to be a bargain to be of interest to the to Glasgow club.
