Neil Lennon is hoping his Bhoys can make home advantage count when they take on Italian side Udinese at Parkhead tomorrow night.
After defeat in Madrid two weeks ago, Celtic find themselves pointless in Group I and have the perfect chance to get their Europa League campaign up and running in front of the Parkhead faithful.
Lennon believes his side must pick up points at home. He said: "We have to try to take maximum points from our home games and, with a bit of luck, get something away from home.
"I want us to go out there, get the crowd on our side as quickly as possible and set a good tempo to the game."
Udinese have come in for some criticism for their decision to field what some would consider a weakened team, most notably the speculation that star striker Antonio Di Natalie will be rested alongside other first team regulars. Lennon responded, saying this can only be a good thing.
"They're (Udinese) one of the best sides in Serie A at the minute. Obviously, it's fraught with danger; with us being the home team we'll try to take the game to them.
"We'll try not to concentrate too much on what they're doing and instead focus on what we're going to do."
