Fulham Midfielder Steed Malbranque has been put on the transfer list after rejecting a new contract at Fulham. Malbranque has stated that he want to play European football next season and he is looking for a club that can give him a chance to play in the Champions league. Gordon Strachan has been a long time admirer of the classy 26 year old French midfielder and is known to be interested in bringing him to Celtic. Malbranque has scored Six goals in Thirty Two appearances this season including a superb double against Man City in November. His disciplinary record shows 4 yellow cards this season but Strachan sees that as a testament to his commitment. A replacement for Petrov is being looked at and Malbranque looks as if he may be the man to do it.
