Nico Kranjcar.. Celtic step up a gear to sign him

Celtic have stepped up their interest in the Croatian 21 year old midfielder and this is thought to be a move to replace Stillian Petrov with the 2.5 million rated internationalist. Celtic have been watching the player and scouts have been taking notes of his fitness and ability in a recent game against NK Varteks. The players agents have been in Scotland recently and are thought to have met with Celtic to discuss the terms and wage structure which will allow the Hadjuk Split player to move to Glasgow.
