Nobody wants Shaun Maloney

Sean Maloney's master plan to wait till January to decide his whereabouts next season seems to be backfiring as no club has came forward for him. In a spectacular version of Celtic "deal or no deal" The Celtic banker looks as if he might get away with a reduced offer for the undecided Maloney.

Shaun and his agent have came out with the embarrassingly familiar "we have reopened talks with Celtic" statement which we all know translates to " nobody wants us"

Aston Villa are still in the frame for the player but the lack of interest may see a much reduced offer and indeed we may even have to wait till the summer to see what the player is going to do. Although the transfer window closes in January Maloney may decide to wait till the summer and hope he gets a good run in the team and a subsequent increase in his price tag.
