Petkov's agent Martin Reilly has said that he needs an answer from Celtic very quickly as there is work to be done getting the player to other interested clubs if Celtic cannot get a deal sorted quickly.
Petkov has been capped 64 times for his country and has stated publicly that Celtic are his team of choice. Celtic are under pressure to sign a new player after a poor performance against Hearts at the weekend.
