Player of the Year Candidates Announced

The shortlist for the annual player of the year awards has just been announced, with Celtic's Shunsuke Nakamura, Artur Boruc and Lee Naylor all in contention for the top award. Aiden McGeady has been named in the shortlist for YPOTY.

Other notable inclusions for the main gong are Russell Anderson of Aberdeen.
It seems however that there is no place in the running for Ferguson (8). Rumour has it that Barry is going to change his surname to include the brackets and the number 8 since readers of the Daily Record do not recognise his name unless it has the punctuation and digit included!

Also in the running for the YPOTY award are Scott Brown, Charlie Adam and Steven Naismith of Kilmarnock.

I'm sure Aiden will be out of luck this year as there is no way a Celtic player will win both now is there?
