Celtic, Manchester City and Inter Milan have all been confirmed for a four-team tournament in Dublin. An Airtricity XI consisting of the best players in the Irish League will also take part in the pre-season competition at the Aviva Stadium on July 30-31. Neil Lennon, who helped launch the tournament yesterday, said: "I feel privileged as Celtic manager to be able to take the first-team squad over to Ireland to play in the Dublin Super Cup tournament against some great sides. Obviously the club has very strong ties with Ireland and with our massive fanbase here, it promises to be a special occasion for myself, the players and the Celtic fans." |
