Roar v Celtic: Two new Celts and three old Huns?

Celtic will fly out to Australia on Thursday and it's likely that there will be at least one new face in the Hoops for Tony Mowbray's first game in charge of the Celts but the opposition will contain a few tired old Hun faces. The Oz Bhoys will be travelling from all over Australia for this match and they'll be hoping to see Marc-Antoine Fortune make his first appearance for Celtic. As a special treat they'll also be able to perform that old fans favourite 'Go Home Ya Huns' to Brisbane Roar's Craig Moore and Charlie Miller and probably to trialist Boab Malcolm. Big FTP was recently released by Motherwell after previously being found out at Derby and QPR.

Cameroon international Landry N'Guemo
"We haven't made a decision on signing Bob at this stage." said spokesman Daniel Lato. "We need to be sure that he's the right fit for us and we are the right fit for him. Providing there are no unexpected injuries between now and Sunday, Bob will get the chance to line-up with Craig Moore and Charlie Miller. Frank Farina will consider Bob's performance as part of his trial."

The 'Queensland Roars Against Racism' match at the Suncorp Stadium on Sunday could possibly see another debutant in the Hoops if Marc-Antoine Fortune's Nancy team-mate, Cameroon midfielder Landry N'Guemo, completes his anticipated loan move to Paradise. Nancy confirmed that negotiations on a season long loan with a view to a permanent deal next year were progressing well.

"If Celtic want me then I would love to talk to them." said N'Guemo "They are a huge club, one of the biggest in European football and the prospect of going there excites me. Celtic have a great history and they play in the Champions League every season.

"It would be a new country for me, new football and new culture but it would be right for me." said the Cameroonian international. "I'm ready for a move. I have two years left on my contract but I'm ready for a new challenge and Nancy know that."
