Rogne wants make things right

Defender Thomas Rogne is hoping to meet Rangers in the Scottish Cup final. The possibility was set up when the draw was make yesterday with the winners of the Rangers - Dundee United replay playing Raith Rovers while Celtic will take on the winners of the Hibs - Ross County replay. If May comes along with the expected final pairing of Celtic and Rangers, Rogne plans to celebrate the end of a disappointing season with a win. Rogne is looking for a positive end to the season for Hoops players and fans. He said: "Beating Rangers in the final would be a good scenario, it would be nice. If we don't win the league, it's always good to win the cup. We would probably have to beat them to win it at some point so it doesn't matter if it is in the semi-final or final. But it can be a dream final. We have a good shot now. It is important for the club and the players to get some trophies. Now we are in the semi-final and we have every chance in the world to win it. But it doesn't matter if it is or isn't Rangers we play against in the final, as long as we win."

Rogne, who injured a hamstring in the 1-0 defeat by Rangers at Ibrox at the end of February in what was his third game for the Parkhead club, is looking to get back in time for the semi-final in April. The Norwegian went on: "The injury is getting better. Maybe I will be fully fit in one or two weeks. It is never a good time to be injured but maybe it is a little extra disappointing because I was actually in the team. And I was really disappointed to come off in the Old Firm game. I was looking forward to the game for a long time. Hopefully I will be back for the semi-final."
