Greece have set up their game against Argentina with a win over Nigeria. The 2-1 win has encouraged striker Georgios Samaras that his side have a chance against one of the tournament favourites on Tuesday. Samaras is looking forward to sharing a pitch with Barcelona's Lionel Messi and is hoping to create an upset and progress from Group B. Samaras said: "He is a top player. Next to him I am nothing. He is the best in the world. It does not matter who plays as they are all great players. But we will be positive. There have been lots of games where we have played attacking football and that will be our aim again. We have a chance of going through to the next round and we will fight for it. We are not an easy team to play against as Nigeria found out." |
