Cillian Sheridan knows how to score goals against Rangers and hopes he will be given the chance when his loan period with St Johnstone comes to an end and he returns to Parkhead. He is keen to leave the Perth side on a high by helping them into the top sic for the post split games. The 21-year-old Irishman made his first-team debut for the Hoops against Inverness Caledonian Thistle in February 2007 but has spent loan spells Motherwell, Plymouth and now St Johnstone. He has contributed four goals to Derek McInnes’ cause since he was recruited in January - the latest in last week's 4-1 win over Rangers at McDiarmid Park. He hope he has done enough to merit an extended run in the team to deliver more goals before he reports back to Celtic Park in pre-season. |
