Why isn't Boruc allowed to practise his religion in whatever way he sees fit?

When are the directors of Setanta Sports going to allow Boruc to practise his faith without ridicule, scrutinisation and constantly being put in the spotlight? Surely this is just another form of bigotry? If this was a Muslim, would the country put up with such blantant bigotry?

A bigot is a prejudiced person who is intolerant of opinions, lifestyles, or identities differing from his or her own.
Can it be any clearer?
