Sion have vowed to fight on in their quest against UEFA in the wake of their expulsion from the Europa League that has given the Hoops second chance in Europe this season.
The Swiss Club had their appeal thrown out on Tuesday and are now demanding compensation from Europe's governing body.
They believe that they are entitled to compensation, thought to be in the region of 4 million Euros to fill the shortfall that they have now suffered as a result of being removed from the competition.
In a scathing e-mail, a club spokesman was super critical of UEFA and claimed that this matter is far from over in their eyes.
He said: "UEFA believes that it rules the world. The law of the jungle couldn't rule football.
He also stated that their is an overwhelming feeling of dissapointment at the club.
"The players and coaches are very dissapointed. But we still believe we can integrate the group at a later stage. We now wait for damages for the harm."
As for the Hoops, they simply have to take care of the job in hand and that is to negotiate what will be a very tough night in Madrid against an Athletico Madrid side packed with quality players.
