"I have been with Lenny to see them and we will send out a good team to play against them," Strachan said.
"I hope they enjoy the experience of playing here, but not the experience of playing against the players that I am putting out.
"They will try to play and they have some decent footballers and are a reasonably young side, but this is a job that has to be done if we are to continue to try to win every trophy that we are playing for this season."
Although Nakamura has been given some time off ahead of his country's qualifier, Scott McDonald has not been afforded the same luxury - even though he is playing in the same game.
The Australia striker is nevertheless looking forward to facing his Parkhead team-mate, who recently promised not to kick McDonald so near to the visit of Scotland's Shame a week on Sunday.
"I read that Naka promised not to kick me and, of course, I will do the same," McDonald said. "We can't go injuring each other with so many big games.
"To be honest, I don't think I'll get close enough to him to tackle him. I'll stay out of his way and I'll be telling my boys to be careful with him.
"There's been a bit of banter but it's all been in good spirits. Naka's a fantastic player and we will have to watch him very carefully on the night."
