CELTIC travel to Poland next week as part of their pre-season preparations and will play two games – against Legia Warsaw on July 4 and Wisla Krakow on July 6.
The following information has been issued for supporters travelling to Poland to see Celtic.

Please note that the British Consulate in Krakow is headed by the Honorary Consul and has no authority to issue British passports. Any replacement of lost/stolen passport can be obtained only at the British Embassy, Consular Section in Warsaw.
WHAT CAN CONSULAR SECTION DO FOR YOU IN WARSAW?

Issue replacement passport: If you lose your passport in Poland we can issue a replacement. To obtain a new passport you will need to provide us with a Polish police report, 546 Polish zlotych in cash (fee for Biometrics passport, completed from C1 and two full face passport photos. Although we always do our best to produce passports in a short turn (usually, it takes 10 working days) we cannot guarantee the issue of a full passport in one day. We can, however, issue an Emergency Passport for immediate travel back to the UK. For this passport you still need to issue a passport form C1, bring two photos and pay the fee 261PLN.
Provide details of local English-speaking lawyers and interpreters: If you are arrested in Poland, but we cannot give any legal advice, or interfere in the Polish legal system. We can also contact friends or family in the UK on your behalf.
ADDITIONAL USEFUL INFORMATION FOR FANS
If you travel on public transport in Poland you should buy your ticket (bilet) before you travel. Tickets can be bought at most newspapers stands and kiosks. Remember that tickets must be validated at the start of the journey, at the yellow machines at the entrance to the metro stations or on board buses and trams. You will be fined on the spot if you are travelling without valid ticket, usually 120zl (about £20).

Please also be aware that Polish beer is stronger than the most beer served in the UK. Do not leave drinks unattended or accept drinks from strangers as these could be spiked.
If the Polish police consider that you are heavily drunk you may be escorted to a drunk tank (this is kind a medical clinic where drunk people are taken to sober up and are supervised by medical staff) and kept there until sober. Before release you will be asked to pay 250zl.
It is illegal to jaywalk in Poland and if caught by the Police you may be fined on the spot.

REMEMBER!
While staying in Poland it is necessary to possess an identity document e.g. passport or driving licence. If you do not possess any identity document, the police may hold you back in order to confirm your identity.
You will not be allowed to enter the stadium if you have drunk alcohol or if you are under the influence of alcohol.
After the match has finished STAY in your sector until Polish football fans leave the stadium (waiting time: from 20 minutes to 1 hour).
RULES YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW WHILE STAYING IN POLAND BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER THE MATCH:
You must NOT:
- intentionally destroy any public facilities such as lights, clocks, phone boxes, chairs, road signs, etc.

- drink alcohol in the place and time of mass gatherings, in the streets, squares, parks,
- enter the stadium with alcoholic beverages,
- enter the stadium with guns, bottles, cans, sticks, explosives, fireworks,

During the match you have to obey the stadium regulations.
