All of Timdom was overjoyed to hear the news today that Artur Boruc is fit again and may make an appearance in tomorrows game against Gretna at Parkhead. With a match against TFOD just around the corner the news that Boruc will be able to get a game under his belt (shouldn't that read gloves?) before the hordes of hades become come first cloven hoofed footing in the New Year.
The news that the special effects trap door below Maciej "Magic" Zurawski is about to teleport him to pastures new is also one that is filling the support with a little more festive glee. The much maligned Celtic strikers future has been in some doubt for some time and it is in both parties interests that a quick and amicable solution be come to! Now that's magic!
And finally, it would appear that Bobo Balde has a future at Parkhead after all. The outcome of this saga has been as hard to call as where one of the big mans signature vertical clearances would land but it would appear that the affable players future may lie on the hallowed turf of Parkhead.
Gordon Strachan said of the speculation regarding the players future, "Why is it any different for Bobo?
I have a big squad of 22 players and my door is always open for anyone to talk about their future.
"The future is determined by the player himself. Can they work hard enough? Do they want to play here? Do they have the opportunity to go elsewhere?
"Bobo had the opportunity to go elsewhere in the summer and he decided to stay here.
"It is him who decides his future and it's the same with the rest of the players."
Yours in Celtic
