Celtic trialists Dani and Ivan de la Pena both played 90 minutes in an under 21's closed doors encounter, against Livingston.
Martin O'Neill was in the crowd to watch the pair, who are both on an 'open ended agreement' with Celtic - training for three days with the team.
With both players free agents, Celtic will be able to sign them for free, but they will not be eligible to play in the Champions League this season. This could well affect Martin O'Neill's decision to buy the pair, but with both players only 26, it would be an investment for the future, as well as this season's league campaign.
Both players are attacking midfielders - a position which has yet to be filled since Lubo Moravcik's departure two years ago.
But with several other clubs interested in the pair, a decision will have to be made soon.
