Celtic midfielder Niall McGinn has joined in the list of players suffering the injury of the famous. He has broken a metatarsal bone in his right foot and will miss the start of pre-season training. The Northern Ireland international, 22, looks set to be out for two months after picking up the injury on Monday near the end of the last training session of the season. McGinn missed the trip to Germany for yesterday's game against St Pauli in Hamburg, which Celtic won 2-0, and will still be recuperating when the rest of the players report back for duty at the beginning of July. |
