Neil Lennon knows all about Francis Jeffers ahead of the game at Fir Park. Lennon was captain at Parkhead in 2005 when Jeffers had a short loan spell at Ibrox. The former Everton and Arsenal striker returned to Scotland earlier this month to sign for Motherwell and scored his first goal for Stuart McCall's side in the recent 2-1 win at Aberdeen. Lennon is well aware of the threat the Englishman could pose which could put the brakes on the road to the SPL title. Lennon said: "I know him, he was at Rangers. It's a good bit of business for Motherwell to bring someone of his experience to the club. He is a good player and knows where the goal is. He's crafty, he flits in and out of games and suddenly pops up with a goal. He's already made his mark, he's scored against Aberdeen so he is someone we will need to keep an eye on.'' |
