Neil Lennon fully expects the club to reap lots of benefits from the short pre-season tour to Australia. While the fans down-under will get a chance to see their heroes in the flesh, the squad boosted by new faces, will get an opportunity to gel as a unit ahead of the SPL season. Adam Matthews and Kelvin Wilson are in the 23-man squad and will be the chance to make their debuts and their new manager does not think it will be long before they realise the world wide magnitude of Celtic.
Lennon said: "I don't think when some players sign they realise how big this club actually is. The guys who came in last summer got a real taste of things and it will be the same with the new boys this time around. When they see what it's like 10,000 miles away they'll get a taste of what playing for this club is really like. Two out of the three stadia in Australia are sold out already, which is great, and hopefully we can get the third one sold out soon. It was the same in America last season, it's always incredible to see so many fans turn out. This club has a huge following around the world."
