Celtic´s first European game since FC Porto in Seville ended with a comfortable 4-0 win away to FBK Kaunas. The result sets up a chance to see some youngsters in the return leg next week at Parkhead.
Despite not seeing the game (I am currently on holiday in Mallorca), reports are claiming it was a decent performance by the Hoops against a basic side.
Celtic´s first half goals came from dynamic duo Henrik Larsson and Chris Sutton, while second half strikes came from youngsters Shaun Maloney and Liam Miller.
On a sour note, Henrik Larsson was taken off injured 13 minutes from time with a hamstring injury, and it is unknown how long he will be out for.
Also, the team aeroplane was forced to take an emergency landing, and the players have been forced to stay abroad for an extra night.
However, the 4-0 victory sets us up very nicely for the return leg next week in Glasgow.
